What's your cancellation policy?
Each host sets their own cancellation policy. If you can no longer make your booking, you may reach out to the host and ask for a refund. It is their discretion to accept.
Which places have Nomacasa properties?
We're currently focused on homes adjacent to national parks and stunning landscapes in the Western US, but plan to expand to more areas very soon.
How do you safeguard payments and transactions?
All payments are fully encrypted and protected using bank-level security. We never store sensitive payment information on our servers and all transactions are processed by well-known and trusted third parties.
Are Nomacasa properties available for daytime or nighttime rentals?
We provide nightly rentals. Each property features bedrooms for guests to enjoy on an overnight stay.
Do you offer insurance?
We currently do not offer insurance, but may do so in the future. We recommend each host carries their own renters and liability insurance.
What is your fee taken from the booking?
We take 5% from the listing price to cover payment processing and platform fees.
Do you cover Transit Occupancy Tax (TOT)?
We are currently implementing a feature to pass on TOTs to the guest. In the meantime, we recommend adjusting your price as needed to account for this tax.
Can I have choose which bookings I accept?
Yes. All hosts have to accept a booking before it is marked on your calendar. If you do not accept a booking within 6 days, it will automatically expire. You can choose to deny a booking for any reason prior to this.
Do you allow properties outside of the United States?
At the moment, only US properties are eligible for Nomacasa. This will change in the future as we continue to grow.
